Merinotech (WA) Elite Ram Breeding Nucleus
PDF Print E-mail

sheepmanThe Merinotech (WA) Elite Nucleus is located at Ian Robertson's property “Yarrak” which is 20km south west of Kojonup in West Australia.

Ian is responsible for implementing the breeding objectives of Merinotech (WA). Ian and his family rigorously record sheep at birth, mulesing, crutching, visual classing and shearing. This has enabled the group to see the rapid changes that have occurred by selecting for ease of management, high fertility and stylish, fleece rot resistant soft white wool. So while the emphasis is on objective measurement in Merinotech (WA), there is significant selection for visual traits.

Competitively priced semen is available from the top sires bred at the Merinotech (WA) Elite nucleus.
